Francis Ngannou takes jab at Brock Lesnar after latest win

Francis Ngannou is fresh off one of the biggest wins of his career and is already looking into the future. The former UFC heavyweight title contender beat former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez in the headliner of UFC on ESPN 1 in just 26 seconds by KO.

After the fight, Ngannou spoke about the bout, why he thinks he should get a shot at the UFC Heavyweight Title as well as former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. This is where he took a shot at “The Beast.”

“For Brock Lesnar, he’s just walking around talking (expletive), but he never shows up for a fight,” he told MMAJunkie. “So let’s see.”

Lesnar has yet to give the $250,000 to NSAC for the fine, which means he remains indefinitely suspended and won’t be licensed to fight again until this fine is paid. Thus, putting his UFC career on hold.

Lesnar successfully retained the title against Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Phoenix, Arizona. He’ll make his next title defense against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 in April.
