Frank Mir wants a third fight with Brock Lesnar

Frank Mir made his pro wrestling debut over the weekend at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport.

Mir seems open to more pro wrestling but it seems like he really wants to step into the cage (or ring) with former UFC World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

“I’ve always wanted to have that third match with Lesnar,” Mir told us during WrestleMania weekend in New York City. “I’m still in MMA so if he wants to go that route, we can go that route but now I can start putting my foot in this industry and maybe somehow get locked in the same room with him is my goal.”

Mir won their first encounter in 2008 via submission and Lesnar won the rematch in 2009 via TKO.

Mir says he hasn’t talked with WWE yet but he will be proactive to make that happen at some point.

In the clip below, Mir also talks about the wrestling business and his thoughts on the potential Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier fight.
