Angel Garza has posted a cryptic message thanking his supporters following a one-sided loss to Oba Femi on Monday Night Raw, with the circumstances surrounding the appearance fueling speculation about the future of Los Garza in WWE.
Garza and his cousin Humberto Carillo made a surprise appearance on Raw in Knoxville, Tennessee, being destroyed by Oba Femi in a two-on-one handicap match. The appearance was unexpected for several reasons. Both men are technically part of the SmackDown roster, and it marked the first Raw match for either of them since a battle royal in 2023.
Shortly after Raw ended, Garza posted on social media: “Thank you to everyone who never jumped off the ship and kept supporting the Garza Legacy through it all.”
The combination of the surprise brand crossover appearance, the dominant loss used to put over Oba Femi, and the valedictory tone of the post all point in a familiar direction given WWE’s ongoing post-WrestleMania 42 roster purge, which has seen 30 performers depart since April 24.
Garza and Carillo made separate main roster debuts as singles wrestlers in 2019 before being paired together as a team in 2021. Garza competed at WrestleMania 36, teaming with Austin Theory in a loss to the Street Profits. The team won the AAA World Tag Team Championships at Triplemania last June before losing the titles to Psycho Clown and Pagano in August. Since then their output has been limited primarily to SmackDown, Main Event, and house shows, with the duo winning only one match between them in 2026.
