As previously noted on Monday night in the press release sent out by WWE, the Evolution pay-per-view will include over 50 female Superstars from Raw, Smackdown Live and NXT. The show will also include some returning names like Lita, Trish Stratus and Beth Phoenix.
However, don’t expect to see Gail Kim on the show. Kim has been very honest about her feelings about WWE in the past and she has indicated that she would not go back because she is happy with her life. On Wednesday, a fan asked her if she would appear at Evolution and she basically closed the door on that idea.
Happy for the women in the company but if I ever made. Return, it would only be for @IMPACTWRESTLING https://t.co/yillNFm9DT

She followed up with another tweet when she was asked why she wouldn’t want to be on the show: “Bc I’ve been there twice. I have never been happy there. Life is about happiness. Impact Wrestling is my happiness. It’s not about money sometimes…. people just don’t understand that.”

Former WWE Superstar Lance Storm chimed in after her tweet:
You don’t date the guy with the most money, you date the guy that treats you right. At least if you have any self respect. Seems pretty simple. #Respect

Kim is retired as an active in-ring competitor but she works backstage and she makes occasional appearances at conventions. If there is any chance of seeing her wrestling again, it will be in Impact Wrestling.
