In an exclusive for WrestlingNews.co, Steve Fall spoke with former WWE star Gangrel, also known as the leader of The Brood during the Attitude Era. We have highlights below and be sure to scroll down to watch the interview.
Gangrel on the rumors of The Brood going into the 2023 Hall of Fame:
“No. I believe that may have been pitched, but I never heard about it. I called Edge and said ‘Hey, where’d all these rumors started?’ He goes, ‘They think they know everything.’ I believe that he may have pitched it in in a meeting, so I don’t know if they have an office leak or something. I have no idea, but I didn’t know anything about it and everybody thought I was working them or hiding the fact and denying stuff, but no, 100% I was reading it just like everybody else.
Gangrel on if he stays in contact with Edge or Christian
“Once a month or a couple of times a month I’ll send Edge a text or something and he answers it right back immediately. Christian, I don’t talk to him as frequently, but I was just with him two weekends ago at Squared Circle Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. We were right next to each other and we had really good conversations. I think he’s going to come in and probably possibly do a seminar for CCW in the future here. We just got to line it up. So, good relationships. I talk more frequently to Edge, but still it’s a good relationship with either.”
