Gene Simmons and WWE Studios partnering up for horror movies

WWE Studios and Gene Simmons are partnering up to launch Erebus Pictures. Erebus Pictures will be financing and producing movies. The current deal is for a three-picture co-prodcution deal starting with "Temple."

Erebus Pictures will be selling the worldwide rights on all titles and the movies will be promoted on WWE programming, and WWE's digital platforms. "The horror genre continues to fascinate me as it proves to be endlessly thrilling and engaging for audiences," said Simmons, who has been in Kiss for four decades.

The "Temple" was first purchased by WWE Studios. The movie follows a team of trained operatives who find themselves trapped in an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is shut down and they begin to experience strange and horrific phenomena.
