Gerald Brisco undergoes successful surgery
Gerald Brisco mentioned on Twitter that he underwent a total knee replacement on Monday.
The WWE Hall of Famer had alerted fans that he was going under the knife at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL then gave a post-surgery update that night where he stated he was dealing with a little swelling after his first rehab session.
This morning, he stated he has controllable pain, but had a great breakfast and hopes to go home today.

Brisco was furloughed by WWE last April due to budget cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the time of his departure, it was reported that with Brisco working as a scout for the company and there being no amateur wrestling tournaments going on at the time due to the coronavirus outbreak, WWE didn’t think it made sense to keep him on the payroll. He has since started hosting his own podcast.
