WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia has reached a milestone in her young WWE career, as she has now officially held the title for over 100 days. The international superstar won the championship on the June 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where she defeated Zelina Vega to become the third woman to hold the title. Her reign has already surpassed the 62-day reign of the woman she defeated, and she is now on pace to become the longest-reigning Women’s United States Champion in the title’s short history.
The WWE Women’s United States Championship was introduced in November of last year as the SmackDown counterpart to Raw’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The inaugural champion was Chelsea Green, who defeated Michin in a tournament final at the Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, 2024. Green’s reign is currently the longest in the title’s history, and Giulia is now just over a month away from equaling that record.
Since winning the title, Giulia has been a fighting champion, successfully defending her championship against a number of top contenders. Her most recent title defense came on the September 5 episode of SmackDown, where she defeated the tough and talented Michin. Her victory over Zelina Vega to win the title took place on the SmackDown before the Night of Champions premium live event, and after the match, the new champion confidently stated that her victory was “just inevitability.”
With the 100-day milestone now behind her, Giulia will look to continue her reign as the face of the SmackDown women’s division. Her next challenger has not yet been announced, but with a roster full of hungry and talented competitors, she will not have to wait long for her next big test.
