Following her losing the WWE NXT Women’s Championship to Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock, there had been speculation about Giulia’s status.
Following Roadblock, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live noted that two separate issues forced WWE to make the double title match and have Giulia drop the title to Vaquer. Giulia was dealing with a minor injury and a visa issue.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those close to the situation denied that she was dealing with an injury. Fightful Select had reported that Giulia has been present at the WWE Performance Center recently despite being off television.
Giulia wrestled Arianna Grace in her return match at Friday’s NXT live event in Crystal River, Florida. She went over Grace.
Giulia previously appeared at an NXT live show on March 22 and attacked Cora Jade. It’s unclear when she will return to television.
