Giulia is one date away from being on her way to WWE as she wraps up her commitments in Japan.
Due to her loyalty to STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa, Giulia had been working for Ogawa in his new promotion, Dream Star Fighting Marigold. While working for Ogawa, he helped make her a big star in STARDOM. The idea was for her to work for the promotion before she went to WWE. Now, it’s time for her new journey to begin.
For several months, WWE was said to be very interested in Giulia, and it was believed that she had some sort of offer from WWE. AEW was not in contention to sign her, as it was coming down to either joining WWE or staying with NJPW. She ultimately signed with WWE.
On August 19th, she scored a victory over Mai Sakurai. This was her last singles match in Japan, although she is scheduled to compete on August 25 for Marigold in one-minute gauntlet matches against the Marigold roster.
As seen below, she bid farewell to the crowd after her match.
