“I think at this time in my career, the best way to take [Lesnar] down was shock and awe, to do something that nobody would expect against a monster like that,” Goldberg said. He added that at the end of the day, there are a lot of smart fans around the world that think they knew the finish of the match. He thinks that none of the smart fans knew the match would go down the way it did.
It’s well known by now that Goldberg will be competing in the 2017 Royal Rumble match. “I’m only as good as my next appearance and my next match, Goldberg said. He noted that he is concentrating on the Royal Rumble and that’s it. Goldberg, who has reportedly signed a deal with WWE for more dates, stated that he doesn’t have any plans after the Royal Rumble. He is focused on the 29 other Superstars and that he is going to have to crucify to win the match.
