It’s been well documented that Matt Riddle isn’t a fan of Goldberg and the feeling is mutual between the two stars.
The WWE Hall of Famer did an interview on the Total Slam podcast where he spoke about the NXT star.
“Riddle is like a booger stuck in your nose, he’s annoying and won’t go away. He has no influence on Goldberg’s life. Period, end of story. It’s the wrestling business and sometimes when you’re out in public you may run into a former foe and you can never know how the situation will turn out. It is what it is, we don’t see eye to eye.”
Riddle had been critical of Goldberg before he signed with WWE NXT. Most notably, Riddle voiced his criticism of Goldberg’s performance in his match against The Undertaker at the WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last year.
Riddle and Goldberg had a backstage confrontation at last year’s SummerSlam where they traded words, which you can see here.
