WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is preparing for what he hopes will be his final match, aiming for it to take place in the summer.
This past October, he confronted World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at Bad Blood, fueling speculation about a potential match between them. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Goldberg discussed his retirement plans, mentioning that potential opponents range from Bron Breakker to GUNTHER.
Goldberg’s last match was in 2022 when he lost to Roman Reigns at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. Dave Meltzer had previously reported that Goldberg’s original plans involved working with GUNTHER.
While it remains unclear if those plans are still in place, the Black Diamond Martial Arts Academy recently shared on their Instagram that they have been working with Goldberg in preparation for his last match, indicating he is incorporating MMA training into his regimen.
