WWE has announced that Goldberg will be returning this Friday night on SmackDown.
Not much else was said so there’s no word on why he will be appearing on the show. Given that WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia is coming up later this month, it’s possible that he will be on SmackDown this Friday to set up a match.
Goldberg last wrestled at SummerSlam in a match where he defeated Dolph Ziggler. Prior to that, Goldberg wrestled The Undertaker at Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that Goldberg was paid $2 million to wrestle on the previous Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia so it would not be a surprise if he is booked for a match for the February 27th show.
