Some good news has surfaced online about Cesaro potentially being injured during his most recent match.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in San Jose, CA at the SAP Center on the USA Network, Cesaro worked a six-man tag team match that had some fans concerned that he might have suffered an injury. The scary spot happened when he received a 450 to the knee from Ricochet. This led to him being helped to the back by officials.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the word going around backstage is that Cesaro was not injured as a result of that spot. He would add that minor injuries can happen like this in a match but usually based on exhaustion from the grueling WWE schedule.
Cesaro was part of the roster to fly over to Saudi Arabia and then right back to the United States for events on Sunday and Monday. You can see the spot and Cesaro being helped to the back here:
