Update on Sheamus and Tommaso Ciampa after scary SmackDown spot

Some good news has surfaced about the possibility of injuries that fans were scared about involving Sheamus and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in New Orleans, LA at the Smoothie Center on the USA Network, The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) battled Ciampa and NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano in a tag team match.

During the match, Ciampa went for a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope to Sheamus when Sheamus fell badly on Ciampa’s leg. Thus, it caused fear among fans that Ciampa and Sheamus might have been injured.

Thankfully, both Sheamus and Ciampa are said to be okay and the belief is that there was no serious injury suffered.
