There was some speculation that Dash Wilder may have suffered an injury after he didn’t wrestle at the WWE live event on Thursday in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Heritage Bank Center.
Instead, he stood at ringside to see Scott Dawson and Curtis Axel take on Lucha House Party and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.
Before the match, Dawson noted via a promo that Wilder wasn’t able to compete because Wilder’s “jingle bells” were hurt. This is where Wilder said he would be back soon. Wilder didn’t get physical in the match.
In an update, it was noted by Dave Meltzer in the Daily Update on F4Wonline.com that “The only thing we were told is Wilder was held off for precautionary reasons and was expected to be cleared for television tonight.”
Thus, Wilder isn’t injury but there’s no word yet as to what the injury scare exactly was or when it happened.
