Grayson Waller Doubles Down With Another John Cena Callout

Grayson Waller has been making it clear that he wants to have a match with John Cena in his final year as an active WWE star.

Cena’s retirement from in-ring competition in WWE was announced at the Money in the Bank event earlier this summer in a surprise appearance. Cena stated that the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania in 2025 will mark his final appearances in the ring.

The former WWE Champion aims to wrestle all year and targets 36 dates with the company. He will also be on Netflix’s first Raw.

While appearing on the UpUpDownDown Instagram account, Waller called his shot. The two have a history, as Cena laid out Waller during a segment at the 2022 Money in the Bank PLE.

He said, “I want to slap John in the face like I’ve been wanting it for so long. I’m going to get it, John. I’m going to keep saying mean things until you say yes. He said 40 shows like come on, give me Poughkeepsie or something. You don’t have to give one of the big towns. I’m fine with that.”
