At WWE Bad Blood, World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER came out for a promo after Triple H introduced the Crown Jewel Championship plans.
He said that he lied about Goldberg, who was sitting ringside with his family, being his favorite wrestler a few weeks on Raw while talking to Bret Hart, who strongly dislikes Goldberg. He asked how a one-trick pony like Goldberg could fool a wrestler like himself. He said that he was just busting balls and wanted to give serious advice to Goldberg’s son, Gage. He said that he hoped Goldberg is a better father than a pro wrestler.
Goldberg jumped the barricade and had a staredown with GUNTHER. Security prevented Goldberg from getting into the ring. This led to Sami Zayn, who challenges GUNTHER for the World Title on Monday’s Raw, attacking GUNTHER, leading to a brawl. Goldberg celebrated in the ring with his music playing and told GUNTHER that he’s next.
Goldberg has openly discussed wanting one more match.Â
