GUNTHER: If Goldberg Wants To Wrestle Again, I’m Happy To Teach Him A Lesson

GUNTHER has publicly commented on his encounter with Goldberg at WWE Bad Blood last month.

The WWE Hall of Famer was sitting ringside with his family before having a confrontation with GUNTHER. It all happened when GUNTHER said that he lied about Goldberg, who was sitting ringside with his family, being his favorite wrestler a few weeks on Raw while talking to Bret Hart. He hoped Goldberg was a better father than a pro wrestler. Goldberg jumped the barricade before being held back.

As previously reported by WrestleVotes, WWE has plans for Goldberg in the future. However, Dave Meltzer reported that Goldberg vs. GUNTHER is not scheduled for Survivor Series or WrestleMania.

While appearing on La Previa de WWE: Crown Jewel, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion discussed the encounter.

GUNTHER stated, “I was invited out there to speak about the Crown Jewel Championship and we had a lot of legends in the house, and I met a lot of them backstage and one of the very few that I didn’t meet that I just saw was there before was Goldberg so when our eyes crossed, basically, I was like, why not break some balls a little bit? He doesn’t seem able to take things lightly. I tried to lighten up the mood a little bit… If push comes to shove and he thinks he wants to get back into the business and wrestle again, then, I’m happy to teach him a lesson.”

GUNTHER meets Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Title at today’s Crown Jewel PLE.
