In an exclusive interview for WrestlingNews.co, Steve Fall spoke with Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER. GUNTHER will be headed back home this Fall when WWE heads to Germany for the following shows:
October 25: Olympiahalle in Munich
October 26: Lanxess Arena in Cologne
October 27: Barclays Arena in Hamburg
October 28: Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin
Tickets are available this Friday. For ticket information, visit this link: http://ms.spr.ly/6014gcLvw
GUNTHER was asked if he is worried that the Money in the Bank winner will cash in on his Intercontinental Championship:
“I’m not worried about it, but obviously whatever the winner is decided of the Money in the Bank ladder match, it should make every champion a little bit uneasy because it gives the winner of that match a chance to take a little bit of a shortcut, I would say, to cash it in at any scenario, but whatever it is, I’m confident enough in my skill that I’ll be able to handle it at that time.”
On if he sees himself making some appearances in NXT:
“I mean, never say never. There are no plans. That’s not my focus right now. I think what I do at the moment absorbs a lot of energy and a lot of attention, so that’s really where my focus is right now. Obviously, I saw it as well that a lot of people pop up back there that haven’t been there in a while which is good for the brand, I think, but yeah, when it comes to me personally, I’m not considering that right now.”
