GUNTHER: Maybe I Can Be The One To Crush John Cena’s Dream Of Winning Another WWE Title

John Cena kicked off his retirement tour during an appearance on the premiere episode of WWE Raw on Netflix and has another shot at main eventing WrestleMania 41 by competing in the Men’s Elimination Chamber bout. He will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title if he wins. He will retire from WWE in December 2025.

Should he win another World Title, he will set the new record for most World Title reigns in history.  While speaking with Daily Mail to promote WWE’s upcoming European tour, WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER discussed the possibility of facing Cena.

“It’s the last chance to get in the ring with him, so if that ever becomes a possibility, I would definitely take that. John Cena is obviously one of the wrestlers, you can put him onto Mount Rushmore. If I get the chance, I would definitely like to do that. Let’s see how it plays out. Maybe I can end up as his last chance to win a championship at some point in that year, and I can be the one that crushes all those dreams. That would be very enjoyable.”

GUNTHER is slated to make his next title defense against Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.
