On his “Grilling JR” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross weighed in on the recent blockbuster news of WWE purchasing the Mexican promotion AAA. Ross expressed some initial surprise but offered overall support for the venture.
“A little bit of a head-scratcher,” Ross admitted regarding the acquisition. “I’m not sure what the value is or how much you can monetize that investment, but I’m fully supportive of it. No doubt about that.”
Adopting a wait-and-see approach, JR concluded that time will tell how the partnership develops: “Let’s just let it grow and see how it evolves.”
