We don’t have any word on the long-term prognosis on Sting’s neck but we are told that he is moving around fine and is not wearing a neck brace.
Doctors told Sting that he was lucky to be able to walk out of the ring at Night Of Champions. For those asking about Sting’s status for WrestleMania, well, Sting is not ruling anything out but it all comes down to what the doctors say and whether or not WWE will clear him. Sting was told that he has spinal stenosis and that’s something he’ll have to address. If he opts to get surgery then that pretty much closes the door on WrestleMania and probably closes the door on his career. Spinal stenosis is what ended Edge’s wrestling career.
Remember, Daniel Bryan has been cleared by his doctors but WWE has yet to clear him and WWE may be hesitant to put a 56 year old Sting (57 years old by WrestleMania) in the ring again.
