WWE is being careful with how they book The Undertaker and how he is portrayed on television. As most fans know, Undertaker has been dealing with injuries for many years dating back to the late 1990s. If you noticed how he was moving around on Sunday night and Monday, it’s because he’s wearing a knee brace on his right knee. Broxk Lesnar created most of the “movement” in the brawl with Taker on Raw this week and it’s obvious that the production crew has been told to shoot him in a way that doesn’t make him look old and slow.
People in the company are under the assumption that his last match will be in Dallas at WrestleMania 32 so part of the reason for this feud with Lesnar is so they can put a resolution the Lesnar/Undertaker feud. There still is no word yet on who Undertaker’s opponent will be at WrestleMania but Dave Meltzer has noted on WrestlingObserver.com that Vince McMahon’s plans for The Undertaker at Mania do not include Sting.
The Undertaker will not be featured on all episodes of Raw leading up to SummerSlam. Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be on Raw on August 3rd.
