Following the news of the latest round of talent cuts, fans are wondering when these former WWE stars can start working for other promotions.
Those wrestlers released on Wednesday include Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Buddy Murphy, and Santana Garrett.
Some fans speculated that these wrestlers could end up appearing at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 17th or AEW’s All Out event on September 5th.
Typically, standard non-competes for the main roster are for 90 days. The math indicates that the wrestlers are eligible to sign elsewhere (Impact, AEW, etc) on August 31st so it’s possible that some of the names released yesterday could appear at the All Out pay-per-view in September but not at the Slammiversary pay-per-view.
The names released in April could appear at Slammiversary.
