WWE Hall Of Famer The Honky Tonk Man took to Twitter to call out Jake "The Snake" Roberts for a story he has been telling for years on how his drug addiction got started.

Roberts has claimed that a guitar shot to the head in 1987 is what started his issues with drugs. Roberts re-told the story on Sunday's episode of WWE's Most Wanted Treasures on the A&E Network and he indicated that there was still heat with HTM over the incident.

On Twitter, Honky Tonk Man disputed Roberts' claim and says that he hit other wrestlers with a guitar and it did not cause drug problems for them.

HTM tweeted, "HTM Guitar Hits that did not cause Crack Addiction: Macho Man, Brutus Beefcake, Ultimate Warrior, Superfly Snuka, Bret Hart.

He also noted that the guitar was gimmicked to soften the low. He tweeted, "We used Strongbow's pocket knife to cut marks in the back to weaken it. The middle and top supports I removed with a screw driver and a hammer. I used a black marker to cover where the knife chipped out the fiber glass coating. The guitar was on the heavy side, made a good sound."

HTM also disputed the story that Roberts told on Dark Side of the Ring where he claimed that he was ready to hit THe Ultimate Warrior with a roll of quarters during WrestleMania weekend.

HTM tweeted, "He would not use a $10.00 roll of quarters that way,,, another lie from an addict. His addiction now is lies."
