How is John Cena’s “Dolittle” film performing at the box office?

John Cena’s latest movie, “Dolittle,” had an opening weekend where it was estimated of pulling in $57 million worldwide with a budget of about $175 million.

The film opened last weekend and has a Tomatometer of 18 percent and an Audience Score of 76 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. According to Box Office Mojo, the film did $30,000,000 domestically and $27,300,000 internationally. 

The film had to go up against Bad Boys For Life that also opened this past weekend that did $106 million worldwide. 

“Dolittle” will see Cena voice the role of Yoshi in the film. Robert Downey Jr., Antonio Banderas, Kumail Nanjiani, Tom Holland, Rami Malek, and Selena Gomez star in the film.
