Ahead of his in-ring return against The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown, Bill Goldberg will return to WWE television on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live. This would be the first time he’s appeared on that show and the first time he’s appeared on WWE TV since losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.
As previously noted, The Undertaker is advertised to appear on Monday Night Raw. Given that everyone will be flying out to Saudi Arabia after Tuesday night, don’t be surprised if Taker makes a surprise appearance on the blue brand for the final hype for Super ShowDown.
Although there’s always the possibility that they could work together again in the future, Goldberg’s return to the ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is believed to be a one-off match and they booked him because the Saudi government wants mega matches on the show with some names from the past.
Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live will take place at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas.
