Huge WrestleMania-caliber match scheduled for tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw

As we noted before, tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will go up against the season premiere of Monday Night Football. WWE doesn’t want you to change the channel so they have decided to book John Cena vs. Braun Strowman for tonight’s show. This would be the first-ever singles meeting between the two men. Yes, it’s a WrestleMania-worthy match but they will not be feuding anytime soon and they are more worried about keeping their viewership numbers up as they get closer to TV contract extension talks. Their deal expires in 2019 but those talks will likely start later next year.

Also, they have added Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan to the show and Enzo Amore will be the guest on Miz TV to talk about his upcoming match against Neville at No Mercy.

As noted earlier, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will also be on the show so you can bet that we’ll see some sort of interaction between Lesnar and Strowman.

Tonight’s episode will go up against the New Orleans Saints vs. the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos.
