The New York Post is reporting that a Manhattan federal judge has approved Gawker's bankruptcy plans that include a $31 million payment to Hulk Hogan. They also have to pay out $1.5 million to settle other lawsuits.
Gawker was forced into bankruptcy after a Florida jury ruled that Hogan was to get $140 million stemming from the leaked sex tape that appearad on Gawker.com a few years ago. Obviously, Gawker will be paying out a fraction of that amount but it's still a hefty payment for Hogan.
The table has been cleared and it seems like it's only a matter of time before Hogan ends up in WWE again. There have been rumors about Hogan returning in time for WrestleMania in Orlando.
