Hulk Hogan Praises Roman Reigns: He’s on a Whole Different Level

Hulk Hogan thinks very highly of Undisputed WWE Universal Roman Reigns, and rightfully so due to his dominating reign since reinventing himself in August 2020 as “The Tribal Chief.”

Success

Reigns has held the Universal Title for over 1,240 days, with his most recent title defense coming at the Royal Rumble, where he defended the championship in a fatal 4-way match against LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles.

Reigns is coming up on Hogan’s longest reign as WWE Champion, which was 1,474 days. He is expected to make his next title defense against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April.

Praise

While speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Hogan praised the top WWE star.

“It takes a really long time to be able to transition and pivot on a dime the way he does. That’s how he paints masterpieces you’ve never seen before. He’s working on a whole different level.”

Hogan went on to praise Reigns’ dad, Sika Anoa’i, for helping him teach him the business and thinks Reigns is a call back to the old-school way the wrestling business operated. He added that Reigns can switch gears on you in a moment and would fit in Hogan’s era.
