Over the weekend, former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey got fans fired up with her comments about “ungrateful” WWE fans while doing an interview with Steve O on his podcast.
In addition to those comments, she also got criticism from fellow wrestlers for her “fake fighting” comments.
In the wake of her comments, she took to Instagram where she made a reference to a tweet sent out by WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan in 2011.
Rousey attached a video of her attacking a Hogan Wrestling Buddy. She wrote the following:
“Goodnight #ROWDYONES and jabronie marks without a life that don’t know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks”
This got a response by the legendary pro wrestler as he commented on her post with this:
“Wow that’s how I need to wake up every morning instead of coffee, marks always work themselves into a shoot especially when they are in the ring, truer words have never been spoken, yo Travis love u guys. HH”
Rousey would react to Hogan’s comments by thanking “Balgrin,” and stated that she learned from the best.
For those who may not know, as a child, Rousey couldn’t pronounce Hogan’s name. When she attempted to do so, it sounded like Balgrin.
