Hulk Hogan removed from WWE Crown Jewel page

Earlier today, we wrote about Hulk Hogan being listed among the “featured Superstars” for the Crown Jewel section on WWE.com.

For whatever it’s worth, Hogan has been removed after reports pointed out that he was quietly added. That doesn’t necessarily mean that he is off the show. Last week, Hulk Hogan told the Orlando Sentinel that he was looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with WWE. There are a lot of plans in the works,” Hogan said. “I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.”

Rumors about his return to WWE go back several months when he was rumored for the Greatest Royal Rumble in April. Hogan was reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame in July but the company insisted that he had not signed a new deal.

Dave Meltzer reported that WWE had been in talks with Hogan for some time about making an appearance on the show and he was expecting an announcement on Monday Night Raw but it never came.

We’ll see what role Hogan plays at the Crown Jewel show when it airs this Friday on the WWE Network.
