Hulk Hogan’s Son Nick Says Wrestling Is ‘In The Blood’ After Sharing Training Photo

Could Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, be the next member of the famous family to step into the ring? The reality star and former television personality is hinting that a wrestling career is a strong possibility, telling TMZ Sports the desire to compete is “in the blood”.

The speculation began after the 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a selfie of himself training in a wrestling ring with NWA star Bryan Idol. Idol is currently the reigning NWA World Television Champion.

When caught by TMZ Sports at LAX, Nick Hogan played coy but hinted heavily at his professional future. “You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know,” Nick said.

He went on to say that he has “always loved the business” and being around the wrestling environment makes him feel “that much closer to his pops”. Hogan noted that the wrestling community genuinely feels like a family, explaining that being in contact with wrestlers and executives in the industry is nothing new.

Hogan confirmed that he is feeling good physically but stopped short of saying why exactly he is focused on his fitness. While the wrestler’s father, Hulk Hogan, had previously claimed his son was going to compete at WrestleMania 39 against Shane McMahon, that match never materialized. Hogan is best known as the son of Hulk Hogan and for his roles in the reality TV shows Hogan Knows Best and Brooke Knows Best.

He also made headlines after being involved in a serious car crash where his passenger suffered life-changing injuries, resulting in his incarceration. Nick also briefly opened up on his grieving process following his father’s passing in July, saying it is “one day at a time,” and thanked WWE, fans, and all his dad’s friends for their support.
