Hulk Hogan’s Wife Releases Heartbreaking Statement On His Passing

The wrestling world is in mourning following the news that Terry Bollea, the man known to millions around the globe as Hulk Hogan, has passed away at the age of 71. The news was first reported by TMZ.com on Thursday, July 24th.

Following the tragic news, Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, has released a heartbreaking statement on her Instagram account. She shared her grief and gave fans a glimpse into the final days of the man she loved.

A Heartbreaking Statement

In her post, Sky Daily confirmed the sudden and devastating loss of her husband. She spoke of his recent health issues and her belief that his strength would see him through.

“I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces,” she wrote. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time. This loss is sudden and impossible to process.”

She acknowledged his legendary status but remembered him as the man she knew and loved. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”

Daily also made a point to address his fans, the “Hulkamaniacs,” directly. “Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.”

“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home,” she concluded. “Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”

The Immortal Hulk Hogan

It is impossible to overstate the impact Hulk Hogan had on professional wrestling and global pop culture. After winning his first WWE Championship in 1984, he launched “Hulkamania,” a phenomenon that turned WWE into a global entertainment powerhouse and made Hogan a real-life superhero to a generation of children. He was the main event of the first WrestleMania and the undisputed face of the industry for a decade.
