Hulk Hogan’s Wife Sky Daily Will Decide Whether An Autopsy Is Performed

In the ongoing and complex situation surrounding the death of Hulk Hogan, officials have now clarified who has the final say on a potential autopsy. According to the medical examiner’s office, the decision rests solely with his widow, Sky Daily, not his daughter, Brooke Hogan.

This comes as both Brooke Hogan and Sky Daily have publicly indicated they are seeking more answers regarding the circumstances of the wrestling legend’s passing on July 24th.

The Legal Standing

TMZ Sports was told by the District Six Medical Examiner’s office in Largo, Florida, that despite Brooke Hogan’s public plea for an autopsy, it is ultimately Sky Daily’s choice as the surviving spouse. For now, the office has not received an official request from Sky to launch an investigation.

However, Sky did state earlier this week that the family has paused Hogan’s cremation “as our family is making sure every question about his medical care is answered first.” This was the first indication that Brooke’s suspicions may be shared by others in the family.

A Daughter’s Public Plea

The situation has played out very publicly over the past week. Brooke Hogan was the first to raise questions, stating on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show that she was shocked by the medical examiner’s report that her father had a history of leukemia. She found the diagnosis and the lack of an initial autopsy to be “fishy.”

She later made a public offer on her Instagram page to personally pay for a private autopsy. “My dad’s dignity and legacy deserves it,” she wrote.

A United Front?

In a new Instagram post on Thursday night, Brooke Hogan appeared to soften her tone and show support for her stepmother. She reiterated her own suspicions but stated that Sky is also working to get answers.

“Hearing what was coming out was shocking to me, given that I’ve seen MULTIPLE near-perfect blood panels on my father’s and then all of a sudden everything’s different?” Brooke wrote. “Anyone would want answers. And she’s doing just that.”

While the Clearwater Police Department has stated there are “no signs of foul play,” the Hogan family is clearly not satisfied with the initial information they have received. The final chapter of the immortal Hulk Hogan’s life story continues to unfold as his family searches for the truth.
