The Hurt Syndicate Reunites With Cedric Alexander At WrestleCade

The Hurt Syndicate, the AEW faction featuring MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley, reunited with their former partner, Cedric Alexander, for a one-night appearance at the 4th Rope Wrestling show at WrestleCade. The event, promoted by rapper Westside Gunn, temporarily brought back three of the four core members of the group, which once dominated WWE as The Hurt Business during the pandemic. The reunion immediately fueled speculation about a potential full-time union.

The One-Night Reunion

The event, held on Friday, November 28, featured MVP and Shelton Benjamin reuniting with Cedric Alexander. This marks a rare reunion of the group in a wrestling capacity since their original run in WWE ended. During their time as The Hurt Business in WWE, the faction was a dominant force, leading to Bobby Lashley winning the WWE title while Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander held the Raw Tag Team Championships.

Alexander was the one member of the original group who missed out on the reunion when the faction reformed as The Hurt Syndicate in AEW, as he remained with WWE until February of this year. After his release from the Endeavor-owned promotion, the former Cruiserweight Champion made his TNA debut in June and has since been a regular performer for the company.

In the past, all four members have talked about wanting to get back together for one more run. For now, fans will have to wait.
