Identity of the zombies at WWE WrestleMania Backlash (including an Attitude Era star)

Booker T noted on his podcast/radio show that an “old school” wrestler was one of the people booked to play the role of one of the zombies at WrestleMania Backlash.

It turns out that the person Booker was referring to was former WWE star Scotty 2 Hotty, who currently works as a coach at the Performance Center and as a live event producer for NXT.

The other people who played zombies were primarily NXT wrestlers and Performance Center trainees. The names include Chance Barrow, Joe Ariola, Bronson Rechsteiner, Drew Kasper, Joe Gacy, Jacob Kasper, Asher Hale, Ari Sterline, August Grey, Ikemen Jiro, Daniel Vidot, Jake Atlas, and Xyon Quinn.

The idea to have the zombies as part of the show was something that was suggested to Vince McMahon from someone within WWE and we’re told that McMahon signed off on it because he felt that it would be something that could also help grab some publicity for the company.
