Although WWE is slated to land a notable free agent signing this year, they will have to wait for the star to get started with training at the Performance Center.
For several months, the company has reportedly had a ton of interest in Giulia, with the belief that she has some sort of offer from WWE. For months, it was known that AEW was not in contention to sign her as it was coming down to either joining WWE or staying with NJPW.
Although the top free agent is believed to be WWE-bound, she plans to help STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa, who recently departed from STARDOM, with his new promotion before going to WWE. The reason for that is due to Giulia’s loyalty to Ogawa, who made her a big star in STARDOM.
Fightful Select reported, “Giulia will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center and NXT upon completion of her remaining dates, with an immediate main roster debut ruled out.”
WWE officials are said to be happy with her progress in learning English, and her reputation of working stiff is not a concern for officials.
The belief among those in the company is that “Giulia will be present at NXT Stand And Deliver, with talk of a throwback to NXT signings being shown in the crowd possibly happening.”
