Impact Wrestling executive teases two released WWE stars joining the promotion

Don Callis made another tease for two former WWE stars while doing the Impact Wrestling Aftershock show with Jimmy Jacobs.

The Impact executive made a comment about the mosquitoes being so large in Georgia that you needed a “machine gun” to take care of them. Of course, this was a reference to Karl Anderson as that was his nickname outside of WWE.

Talk’n Shop A Mania was reportedly filmed last week in Georgia with the event set to air on FITE on August 1st. Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore was in attendance, but it wasn’t reported at the time that Callis was at the taping although it’s possible based on this teaser.

As noted, it’s been reported that Anderson and Luke Gallows are headed to Impact Wrestling. Although not confirmed, it’s likely that they will make their promotional debut at the Slammiversary PPV this Saturday.

Enzo Amore, Heath Slater, Willie Mack, Curt Hawkins, The Rock n’ Roll Express, Alex Koslov, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Chavo Guerrero, Johnny Swinger, Teddy Long, Tyson Dean, Jeff Lewis Neal, Raven’s Flock (Sick Boy, Lodi, Reese & Scotty Riggs), and D’Lo Brown were also reportedly at the taping.
