Impact Wrestling star headed to WWE

As we noted a couple of days ago, Crazzy Steve is done with Impact Wrestling. On Sunday morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio, it was revealed that Steve got an offer from WWE and that’s when he gave his notice to Impact and he will likely be headed to NXT.

Management must have known that he was on his way out because Decay was used to elevate other wrestlers at the last set of tapings. They had LAX go out and do a “funeral” for Decay so that appears to be the end of the group. Abyss is back to doing his Joseph Park gimmick and Rosemary is being pushed as the top female star in the company.

Steve (real name Steven Scott) started wrestling on the independent scene in 2009. He got his first break on the national stage in 2013 when he joined Impact Wrestling as part of The Menagerie stable. He was repackaged in January 2016 as part of The Decay.
