Injured Star Returns To WWE TV, Given A Role At Evolution 2

A major stipulation has been added to the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at tomorrow’s WWE Evolution premium live event. During tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event broadcast, Bianca Belair was revealed as the special guest referee for the contest.

Chaos At Saturday Night’s Main Event Leads To Announcement

The reveal came after a chaotic scene unfolded at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Jade Cargill was shown sitting in the crowd before she was ambushed from behind by her rival, Naomi. The two brawled through the ringside area and into the ring before a swarm of WWE officials rushed to separate them.

Bianca Belair Named Special Guest Referee

As officials struggled to contain the brawl, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came to the stage to restore order. Aldis announced that due to their inability to be controlled, their match at Evolution would require a special guest referee. “The EST of WWE,” Bianca Belair, then made her entrance and was confirmed for the role. Belair, who is currently on the injured list, will now have a pivotal part to play in the outcome of tomorrow’s match.

The addition of Belair as the special guest referee adds another layer of intrigue to the already stacked card for WWE Evolution. The all-women’s premium live event is scheduled to be headlined by the Women’s World Championship match between the champion, IYO SKY, and challenger Rhea Ripley.
