Rey Mysterio is back in the WWE. “The Master Of The 619” recently signed a two-year deal with the professional wrestling juggernaut. He’s expected to make his return at the SmackDown 1000 special episode Tuesday against United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title WWE World Cup qualifier match.
With Mysterio back in the WWE fold, he’ll get the opportunity to work with plenty of young talent on today’s roster. In turn, many of those talents are excited to potentially share the ring with a legend of the professional wrestling industry. One of those talents is currently injured WWE star Sami Zayn.
He recently took to Twitter to react to news of Mysterio returning to WWE full-time. Zayn said that he can’t wait to share the ring with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion:
“I can’t wait to wrestle this man.”

A match between Mysterio and Zayn will certainly be an interesting one. It has yet to be determined which brand Mysterio will officially join, despite making his in-ring return at SmackDown 1000.
