Injured WWE Star Is Getting Closer To In-Ring Return

At a time when WWE NXT is gearing up for the premiere episode on The CW Network, one star is also getting closer to making a return to in-ring action.

Cora Jade is currently out of action. When she first went down with the injury, she was believed to be sidelined, likely for a year. Her match was stopped due to an injury while challenging Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Title in January at an NXT live event in the main event.

The top NXT star suffered a knee injury, causing the match to be stopped. The referee and doctors checked on her before helping her to the back. She is on the shelf with a torn ACL.

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez appeared on The Ringer Wrestling Show for a new interview, during which she provided an injury update on Jade. Perez stated that she thinks Jade has about a month left of recovery time to go. She described Jade’s injury as a really bad one, and you never know when she’s going to pop up.

Perez will defend her title against Giulia on tonight’s episode of NXT. It should be noted that once Jade is done with recovery, she will have to start getting back into ring shape and medically cleared. We wish her a speedy recovery.
