Injured WWE Star Returned To In-Ring Action After SmackDown

One WWE star has made a return to in-ring action after being sidelined for the last month.

That star is Braun Strowman. On the October 1st episode of Raw, Strowman worked a Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed. Strowman was injured in the bout as he suffered a torn groin.

In the bout, Reed hit Strowman with a superplex that caused the ring to collapse. This allowed Seth Rollins to come out to the ring to make his return and hit Bronson with a stomp on the steel steps. Strowman picked up the win as a result.

As seen below, following this week’s episode of SmackDown, Strowman made his return by working a dark match. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee defeated WWE World Tag Team Champions JD McDonagh & Finn Balor via DQ after Carlito got involved in the action. This led to Strowman coming down to the ring to even the odds.

The bout was restarted and changed to a six-man tag team match. The babyfaces went over to send the crowd home happy.
