Noam Dar has returned to in-ring action after an injury absence of nearly a year.
Dar worked last night’s WWE NXT live event in Dade City, Florida, picking up a win against Vanity Project member Jackson Drake. It was his first match since June 2025, when he was forced to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship due to injury.
The return is notable for several reasons. Dar had only been back for a couple of months before that June 2025 injury struck, having previously missed close to a year of action between May 2024 and April 2025. Friday’s live event appearance means he has now dealt with two separate lengthy absences in the span of roughly a year.
Dar has been with WWE for a decade after making his debut in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic tournament and signing as part of the cruiserweight division shortly thereafter. He had a run in NXT UK before transitioning to the US-based NXT brand following NXT UK’s closure. He is a four-time Heritage Cup Champion and was the leader of the Meta-Four group alongside Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, and Oro Mensah.
The timing of his return is significant for NXT as a brand. The developmental show has lost several of its most prominent male performers to the main roster in recent months, with Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans moving up at the start of 2026, followed more recently by Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, and Ricky Saints being called up to Raw and SmackDown.
