Inside joke on Raw, NXT storylines rushed and rewritten, WWE Network Canada update

The segment with Triple H, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash on Monday where Nash tells Triple H that he looks like “Vince Jr.” in the suit was an inside joke between them.

The NXT live special that airs on Wednesday of next week was actually scheduled for March but they had to speed things up because they have booked the NXT talents for the Arnold Sports Expo in March. The TV was rewritten and angles were sped up by people at the top. The live special (on 2/11) will be headlined by Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens for the NXT title. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley for the women’s title will also be on that show. Also, Finn Balor vs. Adrian Neville is set for that show. They will be doing tapings on the following day (2/12) and then doing another taping on 2/18. That will cover their storylines through WrestleMania.

Here’s a follow up on the network in Canada. As noted yesterday, you can watch it on desktops and laptops through WWE.com but you must already have a subscription through your cable provider. You will be asked for your login details to verify that you are a subscriber.

I’ve heard from a couple of people that Bell Canada is not airing the WWE Network yet even though it was supposed to launch on January 15 thanks to a deal made by Rogers. There’s no word on if there’s a delay. If we get an update then we’ll post it ASAP.
