Interesting Names Backstage At WWE Raw

Reports from PWInsider indicate that JD McDonagh and Royce Keys (formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW) are both backstage for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.

JD McDonagh has been absent from WWE television for several weeks. The Judgment Day member stepped away from the ring in December 2025 to undergo surgery to address lingering injuries. At the time of his procedure, McDonagh stated on social media, “Been working thru some stuff for the last few months, but now is the time to pump the brakes and get put back together. Won’t be long. brb”. His presence in Memphis indicates he may be ready to return to active competition.

Royce Keys is also present backstage following his WWE debut at the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Keys, who selected his new ring name as a tribute to his youngest son, Royce, and his late mother’s maiden name, Keys, made his first appearance by eliminating former World Champion Damian Priest during the Royal Rumble match. Keys recently competed in a dark match against Nathan Frazer prior SmackDown this past Friday.
