Interesting stat about Dolph Ziggler’s win-loss record heading into WWE Extreme Rules

Dolph Ziggler has been put back into the main event scene in WWE as he has the chance to become the WWE Champion.

He’ll do so when he challenges Drew McIntyre for the top title on the Raw brand at Sunday’s  Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.

Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com shared an interesting stat on Twitter about Ziggler’s win-loss record heading into this contest.

Ziggler has won just one singles match in 2020. According to CageMatch.net, Ziggler has had 20 matches thus far this year and has won five of those while losing 14 bouts and having one draw.

His only win came back on the April 10th episode of Friday Night SmackDown when he beat Tucker in a singles match. This was when Ziggler was feuding with Tucker’s tag team partner, Otis, as part of the storyline with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

The other four wins thus far this year in WWE comes from Ziggler working tag team matches.

Alvarez wrote, “Fun fact: The challenger for the WWE Title on Sunday has won exactly one singles match in 2020, and it was over Tucker.”
